Overlooking the old grape orchards
Years ago, this area used to be lush with grapes for various wineries. One of them - San Antonio - used to be visible to the freeway this was shot from. The wineries are gone now, and what few are left are now further south in Temecula.

For now, a road with a view.
This point is what I used to refer to as the "top" of Fairmont Boulevard in Yorba Linda; this is actually from a bit of road overlooking the basin. From this point, on a clear day, you can make out the Redondo Pier - which is about 45 miles away, roughly.

Western Orange, California, and the nearby Stadium area of Anaheim.
If you look, you can see the arena where the Anaheim Ducks play; it's just to the right of the tallest building you see in the background. The hill waaaay in the background is Catalina Island.

Waiting for the bus
This was shot from in front of the mall in Ornage. Note the wind, as evidenced by the way the palms are blowing. Was a bit of a gust that day.
