These categories are broken down to the fandoms, which are broken down to general, hetero and slash. When archiving, please select both a fandom and sub-genre. XOvers, select all available fandoms and include needed ones in the summary </p>
<p>WRITERS CALL FOR ROUND ROBINS: we have several unfinished round robins on site. I encourage everyone to check them out and if the spirit moves you, write a new segment so we can get them completed. Be sure to include the robin url, yor pen and email addie for feedback and the segment number. Submissions will be added on a first come basis. <p><br>AUTHOR'S TIP: UNBLOCKING THE BLOCK <br>there are some techniques for writers block that might get the words undamned.<br>1. try free styling, sit down with a set idea of what amount your going to right, or a length of time you're going to write and just write whatever comes out. doesn't have to be thought out. just whatever words come out of your fingers, only determining factor is the page or time limit.<br>
2. try writing something different. a improv or poetry, limerick whatever.<br>3. make sure you're following the story voice, not your own. a lot of times the muse will close you out if you don't follow where they lead<br>
4. sit down and interview your character. ask him what he wants, find out what is motivating him, or aggravating him. Ask in your voice, be sure its his voice that responds. sounds silly, but it works<br>add your own tips or exercizes, if you'd like, to the comments section of this. I'll leave this up for anyone who might want to refer to it later</p>
