I think with just a little more outreach effort and a good attitude we
can get plenty of authors who live in the Animax zone (i.e. Rest of
Earth outside the tiny Anime market in the USA) rather than just visit
it.

I was aiming for a bit of suckage on the porno bits (puns always
intended) to be more "in character" for this narrator, but there's
plenty of room for improvement there I'm sure.

The story seemed a bit rushed with the author trying to stuff in
explanations for everything in the series background so it had a bit
of a "drive through" feeling to it.

I think somebody who was serious about writing in this series could
have written a much longer story was truer to the series background
and had say a vast conspiracy or something rather than child
prostitution.

The biggest change I made to the setting was to set up a pun on the
title.  (I've got an original story in the works where the name of the
title character is the biggest spoiler of all and I'm 99.999% sure
that nobody will catch it until it's spelled out in the 6th chapter.)

Q: Why does Kino have no visible means of support?

A: Because she's riding an invisible ghost.
