Dye is unnecessary. Even in the anime, Ranma can put on minor
disguises and hair doesn't give him away.

But it shouldn't be necessary to go to such great lengths just to get
Ranma into female form. Maybe he got splashed accidentally on the way
to his interview. Maybe the company wants to hire a woman for cost
reasons. Maybe he was given incorrect information that a woman would
get paid more. Maybe he's there because he wants to get the goods on
one of the bosses who's been harrassing previous female employees.
Maybe....
