[FFML] [Xover] [Ranma/OMG] Nabiki & Ranma – Together 4ever - Act II – Closing chapters, omake, and story notes

These are the closing chapters of the all in all 16-17
chapters long NaRT4 story. The new chapters are
available through the
chez-vrolet link near the bottom of this message. It's
an rtf-file, so to access simply right-click and save
it in this format. Among others the free Openoffice (
http://www.openoffice.org ) is
capable of handling it. Or you could check them out in
the mediaminer archive, whichever you prefer.

As always, constructive comments, criticism, and
feedback for improvements of structure, language,
quality, accuracy, general perspective, and so on, are
all very appreciated.

Nabiki has a plan. Urd has an itchy trigger-finger.
Ranma has a life turned upside-down. Ryuu has a duty.
Taro has a purpose. Ryoga has problems, and an
unwanted nanny. Kuno talks funny. A yarn for those who
want to read something experimental, witty, darkly
ironic, with interesting characterisation, and very
different.

The first arc:

Nabiki has a plan to use her available resources.
Corporate life-sentences, Japanese glass-ceilings, and
accountability are very, very bad words. Urd is a
bored, higher-dimensional, time-spinning, semi-amoral
meddler with an itchy trigger-finger, and very
suspicious views of what constitutes an interesting
‘solution’ or ‘perfect girlfriend’. Ranma momentarily
wishes to get out of a circular routine. Uh-oh


Nabiki turns herself into an über-metamorph. Absolute
power is kind of neat, and corruption is underrated.
Urd gives Nabiki a conscience. She's NOT happy. Urd
makes Nabiki obsessed with Ranma. She's really giddy.
Peorth isn't pleased. Nabiki puts Ranma in intense
hypnotic sex therapy to refocus his affections. Ranma
is content, needy, ashamed, angry, suspicious, and
enthralled. They become a dysfunctional couple!
Bizarre situations, and wordy character interactions
follow. Nabiki thinks it's perfectly normal to torture
antagonists. Ranma disagrees, but forgives her ‘cause
she's funny and cute. They still have nearly nothing
in common, but that hasn’t stopped most people.

Not required reading to understand what's going on.

Ryoga is Herb's new hobby-project, and isn't very
happy about it. Ryuu gets a very unusual job. Taro is
on a general power-trip. Ranma is frustrated. Nabiki
is adapting. Kuno gets a new pupil. Konatsu gets a new
teacher. Shampoo gives a lecture. Sects are the new
’it’. Ukyo shows off. Hayato is annoying. A pact is
made. A rivalry ends, as another begins. Payoff time.

And coming right up: The fallout. A final choice.

However, given the sheer density of the storyline, and
that this is near the very end, it's considerably
easier to get the gist if you check it out instead.
