Which, as we've established elsewhere, would not canonically do?anything to keep her children from inheriting the Byakugan. Sealing her would be a futile gesture at best... and would do nothing to prevent a repeat of whatever happened with the Uchihas. Before you argue that the Hyuugas would just seal any children of hers who inherited the Byakugan... they'd have no right or grounds?to do so. Those children wouldn't be associated with the Hyuuga clan, after all and would neither owe allegiance to the Hyuugas nor have any reason to follow Hyuuga traditions.

that wouldn't exactly be stealing the Byakugan, would it? Also, there's some
evidence that it has happened at least once in the past -- remember when
they speculated that the sharingan and byakugan were related? That's the
most likely method as to how.

Which is exactly what LED to the current state of affairs, if you bothered
paying attention to the nuances and subtext presented in the canon. The very
EXISTENCE of the Uchiha clan and the Sharingan ultimately led to the
branch-sealing system currently employed by the Hyuuga clan.

If Hinata LEFT. THE. CLAN. Married out of it. Became a wife, became a
mother, became NOT associated with the Hyuuga main family ANYMORE, AT ALL,
she would be sealed. Period. End of discussion.
