Well, that's the catch, ain't it? David Weber says he never ever wants
to read fan fiction, to minimize the possibility of idea-theft lawsuits.
I'd give odds that she's the same way, though I wouldn't be surprised if
she starts reading some of it now that the series is over.

I'm on the side of 'who cares?' like many others. This statement, on the
other hand, would have intrigued me. I'd enjoy hearing what fanfics
Rowling enjoyed and hated.
That is, if she actually read any, instead of, say, hearing from her
lawyers that 'there is a lot of it out there'.
