Heh.  Trust me, I know all about the numerous, numerous...um...issues
with how the character's been handled lately.  (Familiar enough that I
could guess _exactly_ which scans_daily post you were linking to before
I clicked it. ;) )  My frustration over that is a large part of why I
started fiddling with this story and a few others that may or may not
get written once I finish One Hundred Days.
