Well, considering that there can apparently be only one 'heir' per
generation, and all other potential heirs are shunted to branch
houses, i'd say he's probably branch house. Sakura has never seen him
without something covering his forehead (either a mask or a forehead
protector), so she hasn't seen whether or not he has the seal.

But this isn't to say that Sakura could ever learn the Rasengan; just
when she got the thing spinning up she'd run out of chakra and it
would go 'poof!' If she _did_ have Naruto-level chakra reserves,
however, she'd probably have found that training much easier than he
did...
