Interesting.  Just a couple of nitpicks:

Riddled...?  He let her stick him more than once!?

Should be "couldn't care less..."

>His hair – currently tinted the glorious
>gold he's become fond of – is set off quite well,

Whatever punctuation you used there (em-dashes?) didn't seem to come through in plaintext....

Because I normally skip over the pre-fic notes, it took me a few seconds to realize you were using the original book rather than the movie.  It fits in well with what I remember -- I haven't read it in a while.

I wonder if the Chrestomanci stories would make good anime?
