Okay, okay, so I didn't think of the effects of flash-freezing. Yeah,  
brittle, understood.

Well, *yes*.  But personally, I tend to think it's kind of cool when  
I meet a world that feels more or less real ... and *still* has elite  
bodyguards who wear magical miniskirts. :)

On that score, "Moonshadow" is stacking up pretty well so far.
