Well, if you cool anything fast enough, far enough beyond zero, it's
going to probably be very, very brittle.  (Liquid Nitrogen, for
instance, cruises along at around -195 Celsius at the warmest.)  But
really, who cares about the strict laws of physics in a world where the
Earth was once ruled from the Moon and elite bodyguards wear magical
miniskirts?
