For me it was the Ami / Ryo romance . Then again it was my first time
reading a decent length Sailor Moon fic so any sort of development of
the sort would of inspired me to read more .

Esp this scene :

Ami sighed. Ryo was serious and a deep thinker; she liked that about
him,
but those traits occasionally led him down depressing avenues of
thought. Once
he got a gloomy notion in his head, it tended to stick and get
progressively
worse the more he thought about it. She could argue him into seeing
sense, of
course, but it would take awhile -and in this case, she wasn't
entirely sure
that arguing would help. She settled instead for giving his hand an
affectionate
squeeze, leaving it linked with her own. After several minutes, she
realized
that her free hand was tracing symbols on the back of Ryo's hand -
very specific
symbols.

*I'm probably the only girl in the world who writes out math
equations on
the back of her boyfriend's hand,* Ami thought wryly.

"You forgot to carry the three," Ryo said absently. Ami blinked,
rechecked
the formula in her mind, realized he was right, then growled and
punched him in
the shoulder. "What?" Ryo asked. "How is this _my_ fault?"

	"It just is."
