I'm a sucker for symmetry and patterns as well -_-;. It's probably
possible that you could do it all at once, though, if you wanted to
take a few narrative liberties.

One possibility: earlier Anko helped Ren escape in the middle of the
night, and Sakura could probably be forgiven for repeating her
teacher's 'mistake' if she felt uncertain about the Mist trio's fate.
It would also probably be best to do it before the Rock turned around
to go home, as the Leaf are the ones that are technically at war with
the Mist, but the Leaf are currently at the mercy of their former
enemies and current, very tentative allies, the Rock.

This could have consequences for Sakura, i suppose, and might be hard
to engineer (unless custody of the Mist genin was granted to the
senior Leaf present, and Anko or Sakura managed to convince Shizune to
'look the other way' while the Mist 'escaped'...)

This is not necessarily true; i imagine there's always _some way to
fail. It's like some sort of universal law O_o;...

That can be discouraging; there are a few different series that i'd
like to write about, but i'm uncertain that it would be fulfilling as
there probably wouldn't be much of an audience ^_^;...

I usually wait until right before i post before fomally choosing
chapter titles for Suiren... but then, i got into the habit early on
of making every chapter title some incomprehensible, single-word Zen
koan, so i guess they might not be all that important anyway. I'll bet
there are very few people who have any idea what the story title
means, either -_-;...

Though i may have an idea of what i want beforehand, i try not to
write anything down about a scene before i actually sit down to write
it; i find that it sort of takes away some of the excitement and sense
of 'discovery.' It causes me a lot of worry, but i like to be
surprised when situations i create cause characters to act in ways i
hadn't anticipated...

Not that i recommend this method for anyone else O_o;...

I look forward to seeing what you write next... though i can't give
you an iron-clad gaurantee that i'll read it, if it's not a series i'm
normally interested in. I've gotten kind of lazy, lately -_-;. At any
rate, thanks for writing!
